Mollusc – 22 Nos.Commonly sighted birds within the sanctuary: Little Egret, Pond Heron, Sand Piper, Sea Gulls, Cattle Egret, Red Shank, Purple Heron, Grey Heron, Red - Wattled Lapwing, Brahmini Kite, Small Blue Kingfisher, Night Heron, Crow Pheasant, Open Bill Stork, Black Capped Kingfisher, Little Stint, Flamingos, Little Cormorant. Critically endangered bird species include White-backed Vulture and Long-billed Vulture. Fauna include the Indian smooth coated otter, fishing cat (Prionailurus viverrinus), nesting ground for Olive ridley Turtles are reported in the Coringa Sanctuary
